Going from scratch…like me
Taking care of your nails is a long process especially if you go from scratch like me. When I was in my first year of university I was biting my nails and logically dead jealous of my friends who had long nails and perfect manicures. As long as you will be sad/over-stressed/depressed you will not be able to grow long & strong nails. So once you are in good shape both mentally and physically you can give a try to these advices. First if you are biting your nails you can stop rather easily by trying to put hydrating hand cream daily if the taste does not prevent you from biting then try anti-biting nail polish I was personally using the Mavala one.
Choose a nail shape
After that, once it starts to grow, you need to give a appropriate shape to your nails. I recommend squared oval or almond if they are not strong enough. These two shapes allows the nail to gain strength and slowly you will be able to choose the one you want the most.
Get them super hard and painted
At that point in your nail journey, you can paint your nails and already have a beautiful result both at home and at the salon but if you want to take it to the next level then I advise you two products Mavala scientifique & Herôme nail strengthener. The first one is a true miracle within 2 weeks you will start to see results but as it is incredibly effective it is also kind of dangerous because you have to let the product stay on the tip on your nails 10 min max and rince it off because if it touch in any way your skin it’s literally going to harden your cuticles. The second one is a 3 weeks treatment also crazy effective but kinda inconvenient because you have to multiply layers of polishes during 10 days daily. The best advice I can give you is to regularly paint you nails. First because most of polishes have straightener in them and second painting your nails going to prevent your cuticles from moving further onto your nail to create a nasty result.
Last step: How to paint your nails like a pro?
Perfect nails mean perfect manicure and it’s really easy to apply nail polish once you have the right technique. I really hope you try my method and leave me a comment if you know others techniques, I would love to hear about it.
